HistoryThe first Island Bay Day was a small parking lot charity music festival in October 2007 that benefitted the Chesapeake Bay Trust and had local favorites "D'Vibe & Conga" as the headlining act. Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center in Grasonville (CBEC) and benefitted that orginization. A second stage was added and the
festival grew again, this time providing 12 bands in 12 hours, with local favorites "No Pets For Noah" headlining.

The headlining band was "Kix", a band that has had significant MTV and radio airplay over the years and who regularly
plays large scale venues and music festivals around the country. The location was the 8 acre field behind the Kent Island
